Japan Solo Exhibition: The Museum Of Modern Art, Gunma, Takasaki.

A major touring survey exhibition of Dean Bowen’s Paintings, Sculpture and Works on Paper, Australia: Land, Sky, Birds and Creatures opens at The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma on the 8th July and continues until the 27th August 2023. The survey exhibition features 150 works made over the last thirty years 1992 to 2022. The exhibition includes major bronze sculptures such as Smiling Kookaburra (large) 2021 and Echidna 2013 as well as many other bronzes, assemblages, oil paintings, works on paper and artists books. The exhibition will tour to five museums of modern art in Japan from 2023 to 2025.
